I’m starting this blog because I want a place to think, create, share, and contribute more directly.

A lot of what brought me here started with science. Studying physics shaped how I see the world. It taught me to stay curious, question assumptions, look for first principles, and care about how things actually work beneath the surface. That way of thinking has stayed with me, even as my path has moved into sustainability, energy, data, and bigger questions around progress, systems, and innovation.

Spending five years in data science and consulting gave me valuable experience, and I’m genuinely grateful for it. But even so, I often felt something was missing: the feeling of making a real impact, fully expressing myself, inspiring others, and building something of my own.

Over time, I realised I didn’t just want to work in these areas. I wanted a place to explore them more openly, develop my own ideas, and share what I’m learning along the way. That’s what this blog is for.

What I’ll Write About

I’ll be sharing ideas, projects, research, and reflections on the things I care about most: AI, sustainability, entrepreneurship, and the bigger question of how we build a better future.

Some posts will be practical: tools, systems, opportunities. Others will be more reflective: personal growth, direction, and the process of trying to build a meaningful life and career in a fast-changing world. But all of them will come from the same place: a desire to think clearly, create something useful, and contribute in a positive way.

A Different Take on Impact

I think sustainability and positive impact are too often talked about in a way that feels heavy, dry, or guilt-driven, as if doing something good has to feel restrictive or joyless. I’ve never connected with that.

Responsibility matters, of course. But making a positive impact should also feel energising. Creative. Ambitious. Alive. It should make people feel more connected to themselves, to others, and to the future they want to help build. Impact isn’t only about duty.

And I believe positive impact can take forms people underestimate. Sport is a good example. People often dismiss it as “just a game,” but it does much more than entertain. It brings people together, creates belonging, builds discipline, and adds energy and meaning to people’s lives. Not every kind of impact comes wrapped in a formal mission statement. Sometimes it lives in culture, shared experience, and community. That broader view of impact is something I want to explore here.

Why Now

Part of this comes from a pull I can’t fully define, but I know is there. A need to create, to put ideas into the world, and to start now rather than waiting until everything feels clearer or more polished. This blog feels like one of the simplest and most honest ways to do that.

As I explore different ventures, some that I hope will contribute directly to positive impact, others that may simply be stepping stones creating learning, momentum, or resources for what comes next, I want a space that sits alongside that journey. A place to document what I’m learning, what I’m building, what I’m questioning, and where I might be heading.

Writing gives me a reason to go deeper. Sharing gives that process momentum. And over time, I hope it helps me connect with people who care about similar things. People to exchange ideas with, collaborate with, and maybe even build with.

More than anything, I want this to be a space that helps me grow, stay authentic, and keep evolving. And I hope that in some small way, it might also be useful to others, whether that means offering a new perspective, helping someone move forward in their own journey, or inspiring them to build something meaningful themselves.

The Beginning

So this is the start. Not a finished statement, just a starting point.

A place to share, learn, build, and see where this goes

Per aspera ad astra, through hardship to the stars.

Thanks for being here.
